You will see the sign directing you to our car park and a team member will show you into a parking space. You are then free to collect your push bikes.

Enjoy exploring Cornwall's beautiful Camel Trail at your own pace!

When finished, return the push bike(s) to Bike Smart Hire Depot.

  • How do I make a reservation for a push bike rental in Cornwall?

    To reserve a push bike rental, simply visit our website and use our online booking system. Select your preferred push bike model, size, and rental date. customers are required to collect their bikes from our store. Booking is automatically confirmed by way of email.

  • What is included in the push bike rental?

    Our push bike rentals typically include the bike itself along with a helmet, which is offered free of charge but is not compulsory. Additional accessories such as locks and pannier bags are also provided free of charge.

  • Do you have on-site parking?

    Free onsite parking is offered to all customers who hire two or more push bikes. However, this is offered on a first come first served basis. We endeavour to give all our customers parking  Once all the parking has been taken, customers will be directed to one of the pay and display car parks close by.

  • Do I need to bring any identification or deposit for the push bike rental?

    Yes, we require a valid identification document, such as a driver's licence or passport, to be presented at the time of pick-up. We also collect a security deposit, which can be made in the form of a credit card authorisation or cash. The deposit is refundable upon the safe return of the push bike and accessories.

  • Are there any age restrictions for renting a push bike?

    Yes, there are age restrictions for push bike rentals. Generally, renters must be at least 18 years of age and if not parked on our premises then a form of ID is required. Where teenage and child bikes only are rented then an Adult with all the necessary ID is still required.. It's important to select the appropriate bike size and ensure that minors are accompanied by a responsible adult during the rental period.

  • Can I extend the rental period if I decide to keep the push bike for longer?

    Our rental period is for a day at a time only. However,  as we offer evening rides, if customers want to extend the time of their hire on the day then by arrangement they can return their bike(s) by 7pm. An additional fee is required.
